Primeros

Vegan, Fair and Sustainable.

Green

No greenwashing, promise.

As Eco Warriors we all can play our part in helping protect and save our Earth and all the creatures in it. Sustainably manufactured Primeros condom is your response to the environmental and social challenges of global warming. Make Primeros condom your everyday climate action agenda and the Earth will stay cool.

Cruelty Free And Vegan Friendly

The production of condoms normally requires casein, which is an animal protein. Primeros rubbers, however, go with the times and are made exclusively with materials derived from plants never tested on animals – out of principle! Condoms are tested gently – in-vitro on human stem cells. So, everyone using Primeros will go straight to the vegan heaven – that’s a fact! Oh, and did you know that our condoms break down in a few weeks in the environment? That makes them suitable for vegans, animal lovers, and composting enthusiasts. Yaay!

Fair Rubber

Primeros plays fair, because it is made of natural latex with a tracked and transparent origin. Fair trade latex for our condoms grows on rubber plantations of smallholder farmers in the Malay Peninsula. Known to the ancient Aztecs, the Brazilian Rubber Tree (Hevea brasiliensis) is a fast-growing tropical tree native to the Amazon. At dawn, the bark of the rubber tree is skilfully incised and liquid latex juice drips into the coconut shell collection vessel. The harvested raw material is thoroughly cleaned by centrifugal force (almost as in a washing machine, just for latex), which produces a quality and pure latex mixture for the production of the best condoms.

Sustainable Manufacturing

Primeros condoms are manufactured in cooperation with German condom engineer Klaus Richter in northern Malaysia. The small-scale condom manufactory is committed to sustainable development. Energy required for the production is 60% sourced from solar and rainwater is used exclusively for service processes (it rains a lot in Malaysia). In short, Klaus prefers to do his bit for the environment – instead of buying a new car. We are proud holders of a certificate of fair working conditions for all indigenous employees. We resolutely refuse to make money from slave or child labor.
